Roll-off dumpsters for homes, remodels & job sites.
Whether you are clearing out one garage or running three crews at once, Ann Arbor Dumpster has a container and a schedule that fits. Here is how we help across Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County.
01
Residential dumpster rental
The easy way to empty a house, a garage or a lifetime of storage without a dozen trips to the transfer station.
A roll-off in your driveway turns a cleanout into a single, focused weekend. Toss furniture, boxes, carpet and household junk as you go, then call us when you are finished. We handle the hauling and disposal.
Popular home projects
- Garage, attic and basement cleanouts
- Moving, downsizing and decluttering
- Estate and inherited-home cleanouts
- Yard waste, old decks, sheds and fencing
- Carpet and flooring replacement
- Spring cleaning and storm cleanup
Most home projects fit a 10 or 20 yard container.
02
Remodeling & roofing dumpsters
Renovation debris is bulky, heavy and never-ending. Keep it off the lawn and out of the garage.
Many homes around here have plaster walls, layered flooring and more than one roof on top. That means more weight than people expect. We help you choose a container that can handle the load, and we place it close enough to the work that crews are not hauling debris across the yard.
Kitchen & bath
Cabinets, counters, tile, vanities and drywall.
Roof replacement
Asphalt shingles, underlayment and flashing.
Whole-home renovation
Gut jobs, plaster and lath, layered flooring.
Decks & outdoor
Old decking, pavers, fencing and siding.
03
Contractor & commercial dumpsters
Dependable drops and fast swaps for builders, trades and businesses that cannot afford downtime.
Set up a standing account, text us a swap request from the site, and get one invoice for every container. We work with general contractors, roofers, landscapers, restoration companies, property managers and retail or office tenants across the county.
Built for the trades
- New construction and additions
- Interior and light structural demolition
- Office, retail and restaurant cleanouts
- Apartment turnovers and move-out season
- Recurring swaps on multi-week jobs
- Multiple job sites on one account
Most crews run a 30 yard.

Questions we hear on every job
Not seeing yours? Call (734) 555-0142 and we will walk you through it.
How far ahead should I book a dumpster in Ann Arbor?
A few days ahead is usually plenty, but spring and late summer get busy with move-outs, roofing season and remodels. If you have a firm start date, call (734) 555-0142 as soon as you know it and we will hold a container for you.
Do I need a permit to put a dumpster on my street?
If the container sits entirely on your driveway or private property, a permit is usually not needed. Placing it on a public street, sidewalk or other right-of-way typically requires approval from the city or township. Check with your local office before delivery day and we will gladly share what we know.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
Our drivers set containers down carefully, and we can lay boards under the rails on request to spread the weight. Let us know about soft ground, fresh asphalt or decorative pavers when you book so we can plan the drop.
What can I not put in a roll-off dumpster?
Hazardous materials are not allowed. That includes liquid paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, batteries, propane tanks, tires and appliances that still contain refrigerant. Washtenaw County runs a household hazardous waste program for many of these items. If you are unsure about something, ask before you load it.
How full can I load the container?
Load up to the top edge of the walls, but not above it. Overfilled containers cannot be legally hauled, and the driver may need to remove material before pickup.
How long is a standard rental?
Rental length depends on your quote and project. Most homeowners keep a container for about a week, and longer rentals are easy to arrange. Tell us your timeline and Ann Arbor Dumpster will build the quote around it.
